Texas Man Allegedly Beats Traumatic Brain Injury Victim, Shouts “Have Fun Dying”

In a strange case from Texas, a 20-year-old man has been arrested and is now on trial for seriously hurting an already debilitated victim, who had a traumatic brain injury, all caused by an inappropriate statement that a woman made.

Authorities reveal that Tristian Thomas, the one currently in the McLennan County Jail, is not just being accused of assault. He also faces charges like injury to a disabled person, burglary, obstruction of a highway, and threatening terroristically a police officer. He is facing a long list of charges.

The violent act occurred in Bellmead, a city near Waco, on May 18. Thomas allegedly hit the victim, pushed him to the ground, and repeatedly kicked him in the process of the execution of the crime. The assault broke the victim’s ankle and left visible injuries to his ear and cheek. Regrettably, due to the victim’s previous brain injury, he was not recalling the incident.

Even though the victim couldn’t give them any information about what had happened, but the police had the video of the attack. Investigators looked at the footage of the event and identified Thomas as the attacker. The same day, the police stopped a car and arrested him.

Thomas has been said to have added more to the physical abuse by threatening police officers from the backseat of the police car by saying, “Have fun dying.”

In addition, they say he also convinced a witness who saw the attack which would bring more legal problems to him.

People in the area are really terrified by this legal case and have raised concerns about the violent behavior of the accused towards disabled individuals and the intimidating of a witness. With multiple charges now leveled against him, Thomas is still in prison as the legal process goes on.
