What Is This Role About?
As the Veterans Affairs Coordinator, you will be the primary individual linking veterans and their families to the local, state, and federal assistance they are eligible for. You will address everything from health care and housing support to work assistance and benefits coordination, and your role will be an essential part of ensuring that our veterans have what they need, when they need it.
Aside from rendering direct help to the people, you will also be tasked with the management of a number of the most crucial activities that need your back hand. For example, the responsibilities include the transfer of agency programs, grant fund acquisition (from application to reporting), and ensuring that the provision of services is in line with the contractual terms of the county and is being conducted in an efficient and effective manner.
