Catch-a-Crook: Barry County Deputies on the Hunt for Truck Thief
Police in Barry County, Missouri, have released a stolen vehicle alert and asked citizens to assist them in finding the offender and the vehicle.
The incident occurred early in the morning on May 26 at about 3:00 a.m. in Shumaker Tire located on Highway 86 in Golden. The perpetrator drove away with a Ford F-150 1992 pickup truck that is the property of the shop. The vehicle is easily identifiable as it is a charcoal gray pickup with a broken windshield, no tailgate, and no side mirrors. Very noticeable.
The video revealed an SUV present at the place of the crime, which is likely the suspect’s vehicle. The officials believe that the public can help if someone recognizes it or has other relevant information in the case and can submit a report.
