Police Reveal Wisconsin Man Tried to Saw Off His Neighbor’s Head with a ‘Big, Long Steak Knife’

A most unfortunate incident was that of Wisconsin, where a person was charged with the murder of his neighbor, a few weeks after she had gone to the police about him trying to chop off her head with a rather big steak knife.

Cyril Granahan, 60, was accused of two serious felonies and was arrested in the event of the 61-year-old neighbor’s death. The lady had to be hospitalized in late April when her caregiver found her at home with blood on her shoulders. After surgery for the brain bleeding, the woman was relieved from the pain but, unfortunately, didn’t survive to the end of May 8.

The woman, who is now dead, said to the police quite a shocking story that she and Granahan had been in an on-and-off relationship since 2023 and that on the night of April 24, Granahan came to her apartment and stayed until the early morning hours. After his second visit during that same night, which was a request for a cigarette case, she replied that she did not know where it was. It was at this point that she got the surprise of her life.

It has been the loud and violent debate, which Granahan started, that has been described in the charges. While he pushed her down the floor and was stamping on her chest, the threat to break her neck was expressly stated by Granahan. Furthermore, he was really heard to have said that he was going to cut her head off and even pulled out a large, long knife.

At present, the incident is the hot topic among people and Granahan is presently under custody at Wood County Jail and is being charged for the very serious circumstances.
