New Details Emerge in Barry County Teen’s Sexual Assault Case Through Court Documents

BARRY COUNTY, Mich. — New court papers cast a chilling light on the case of a 14-year-old Barry County girl who was allegedly lured on social media, kidnapped, raped, and held captive in the basement of a home in Northville Township, Wayne County. The girl, whose identity is not being released because she is a child, was discovered after a harrowing experience that finally led to the detention of 22-year-old Charles Willis from the metro Detroit area.
