15-Year-Old Fatally Shot in Michigan City: Police Investigate Tragic Incident
In a deadly Friday morning shooting, a 15-year-old was shot and murdered in Michigan City, Indiana. The shooting took place at the Garden Estates West apartment complex, located in the 900 block of Pinetree Court. The 911 call was placed around 12:20 AM, stating that someone had been shot within Building 12 of the complex.
The 15-year-old teenage female victim was discovered on police arrival, where she had been shot. The teenager was promptly rushed to hospital, where all medical efforts to resuscitate the teenager proved futile; the teenager eventually died.
The case remains in its first stages of investigation and police are trying their best to learn about the horrors of heinous crime.
